Meetings:
The next prom committee meeting will be Wednesday November 19th during study hall. Any juniors can join!
Fine Arts will have its November meeting on Nov 12 in the Band room during HS lunch 12:05-12:35. (Bring your lunch with you!)
Track sign up during lunch this week. Please fill out a paper if interested in joining the track team this year.
If you are interested in the FFA Dairy Foods CDE please sign up in Mr. Fesser's room.
Important Info:
FCCLA members are asked to bring in plastic grocery bags to Ms. Williams between now and Nov 19th. We will need the bags for the Bundt cake delivery.
All FCCLA members should sign up for their T Shirt THIS WEEK. The $20 dues included your T Shirt. Ms. Williams will be sending in the order on Friday.
The FCCLA Bundt Cake Fundraiser packets must be turned in to Ms. Williams (with the money) by next Monday Nov 10th.
The 2026 ICTM Math Contest Regionals will be held on Saturday, Feb. 28. Our school participated for the first time last year with one state finalist! Anyone interested in participating, please contact Mrs. Gillespie or Mrs. Tharouniati for more information. Participation should be finalized by Tuesday, Nov. 25.

Reminders:
If you need to use a vapor stick for sinus relief, please bring it to the office with a parent note from home. Students are not allowed to use them in class and it will be confiscated.
Students should now be parking in their assigned spots with tag showing, if you’re still needing a parking spot, please come to the office and fill out a paper. Parking is $10
Students should be checking their email daily.

Nokomis High School Athletics:
On Saturday the Varsity Redskins football team will host the Casey-Westfield Warriors in a second round playoff game! Show your support, wear your red and black and cheer loud! Game begins at 3:00 pm!

Boys Basketball:
Any boys who did not play football this year and plan on playing basketball need to turn in their athletic paperwork and physical to the Jr. High Office before Monday, November 10th. If you have any questions, contact Coach DeWerff
TRACK:
Open gyms will begin next week on Wednesday, 11/12.
Cafeteria:
Lunch Today: Cheeseburger or Turkey and Cheese Sandwich

Breakfast Monday: Pancakes or Cereal with toast and margarine
Lunch Monday: Beef and Noodles with Italian Bread or Ham and Cheese Sandwich
(2nd chance breakfast is available to all students. If you’ve not had your free breakfast for the day this will be free, otherwise you pay the regular breakfast price.)
If you would like a salad for lunch, please let the kitchen know by the day before or 9am the day of.
Students will not be allowed in the kitchen or use the kitchen microwave.
Dates to remember:
November 11th - No School (Veterans Day)
November 26th-28th - No School (Thanksgiving/Fall Break)
Fees should be paid in the office ASAP. If they are not paid please get them in.
An updated sports physical AND athletic fees must be on file and paid before any athletes can participate in games.
