Meetings:
The next prom committee meeting will be Wednesday November 19th during study hall. Any juniors can join!
Fine Arts will have its November meeting on Nov 12 in the Band room during HS lunch 12:05-12:35. (Bring your lunch with you!)
Track sign up during lunch this week. Please fill out a paper if interested in joining the track team this year.
Important Info:
FCCLA members are asked to bring in plastic grocery bags to Ms. Williams between now and Nov 19th. We will need the bags for the Bundt cake delivery.
The FCCLA Bundt Cake Fundraiser packets must be turned in to Ms. Williams (with the money) by next Monday Nov 10th.
The 2026 ICTM Math Contest Regionals will be held on Saturday, Feb. 28. Our school participated for the first time last year with one state finalist! Anyone interested in participating, please contact Mrs. Gillespie or Mrs. Tharouniati for more information. Participation should be finalized by Tuesday, Nov. 25.
NHS SHOUTOUT:
Congratulations to Maddison DeWerff, Camryn Engelman, Addison Glenn, KInley Stolte, Mackenzie Mehochko and Hannah Tarter for making the IVCA All State Academic Team.
Congratulations to Kinley Stolte for being selected to the IVCA All State 1st Team, Addison Glenn IVCA All State 2nd team and Mackenzie Mehochko IVCA All State 2nd team.
Reminders:
If you need to use a vapor stick for sinus relief, please bring it to the office with a parent note from home. Students are not allowed to use them in class and it will be confiscated.
Students should now be parking in their assigned spots with tag showing, if you’re still needing a parking spot, please come to the office and fill out a paper. Parking is $10
Students should be checking their email daily.

FOOTBALL:
The Football Team’s season came to an end on Saturday in the second round of the IHSA State Playoffs. The team finished the year with a record of 7 wins and 4 losses. This year’s squad became one of only four teams in school history to advance to the second round of the playoffs — an incredible accomplishment!
The coaches would like to thank all the players for always giving their best effort in both practice and games. A special thank you goes out to our seniors: Caleb Bauer, Izaak Doyen, Daryl Evans, Levi German, Nolan Herpstreith, Nic Huston, Kadynn Petty, Riley Reynolds, and Noah Simonton.
Most of these seniors have been starters for the past three years and have helped the team reach the state playoffs in each of those seasons, compiling an impressive record of 17 wins and 14 losses. They have shown the underclassmen what it means to be a true competitor — how to win with class, lead with heart, work hard, never give up, and always show respect.
You will be missed on the field, but your impact on the football program will never be forgotten.

TRACK:
Open gyms will begin next week on Wednesday, 11/12.
Cafeteria:
Lunch Today: Beef and Noodles with Italian Bread or Ham and Cheese Sandwich
Breakfast Wednesday: Strawberry Shortcake Biscuit or Cereal
Lunch Wednesday: Breaded CHicken Sandwich or Ham and Cheese Wrap
(2nd chance breakfast is available to all students. If you’ve not had your free breakfast for the day this will be free, otherwise you pay the regular breakfast price.)
If you would like a salad for lunch, please let the kitchen know by the day before or 9am the day of.
Students will not be allowed in the kitchen or use the kitchen microwave.
Dates to remember:
November 11th - No School (Veterans Day)
November 26th-28th - No School (Thanksgiving/Fall Break)
Fees should be paid in the office ASAP. If they are not paid please get them in.
An updated sports physical AND athletic fees must be on file and paid before any athletes can participate in games.
