Mrs. Cruthis and her 1st grade friends have been having lots of fun learning! Mrs Cruthis made math fun using dice, eggs, cubes, and games! Students have also enjoyed the beautiful weather during “Pals” reading time. And last but not least the students completed a museum study of dinosaurs and astrology. Mrs Huddlestun and her team Mrs Pollman and Mrs Aumann were excited to host Title Family Drive-thru Night for students K-2nd. Families were able to drive through and students received a baggy with items including: a book, 2 crafts, a bookmark and more. North is celebrating our 1st semester Students of the Month. This honor celebrates individual achievement by sustaining a culture of learning that not only values academic success, but highlights the students contributions to the North Elementary community. The students nominated prove they value their education by exhibiting academic responsibility and curiosity. They are also expected to demonstrate excellent behavior in and out of the classroom, which includes the special character traits selected for each month.

District face mask supplies are rapidly being depleted. Unfortunately, we will not be handing out masks at the gate. Spectators must bring their own mask to enter the game.
Although mitigations have eased and we are allowing fans to attend tonight's football game we continue to require fans to practice social distancing and properly wear face masks.

Last night’s Ms. Brown and Mrs. Herpstreith hosted the Nokomis Schoolwide Title 1 Family Night Drive-thru Program for 2nd - 5th grade & Jr. High. Students worked at school creating crafts and preparing bags for the drive-thru program. #NOKOPROUD
