Mrs. Brownback's 5th grade students participated in a two part activity where they reviewed literature and created book covers and conducted character interviews. Students designed a new book cover for their book of choice and wrote a summary of their book to match. Then, students picked a book of their choice and wrote 10 interview questions to ask the main character. They then wrote responses to those questions as the Main Character. #NOKOPROUD

On April 20th Second Grade started the ABC countdown. For each letter of the day, we have a special activity or snack planned. A few of the highlighted days include: B day--bubbles, E day--experiment day, G day--game day. #NOKOPROUD.
Mrs. Marty's Pre-K classes have been learning about insects. This week during small groups a few of our activities were creating a life cycle of a butterfly and practicing counting with a ladybug craft. We also read the book Creepy Crawly Calypso. After reading we used instruments and made our own band and paraded around our room. #NOKOPROUD
Ms. Bergman’s Pre-K classes are learning all about trees! The students have been studying them for a few weeks and have shown great interest in the topic. They got the opportunity to make leaf puppets in the classroom and go on a walk to explore the different trees in our area. #NOKOPROUD
