NHS Student Council held their annual Food Drive Nov 16-23 for the Nokomis Food Pantry. Thanks to NHS students, JH Character Education classes, Trendz, Ugly Mugs, and Cake It On for their help collecting items. #NOKOPROUD
The NHS Volleyball team donated $500 to Den and Roz O’Malley in memory of Ayden. The monies raised during AVM Awareness month, through the Penny War and Bruce Clavin’s donation of pennies, will be used for the Jr. EMS Program. #NOKOPROUD
Ms. Hartke’s Horticulture students recently learned about design, how to use floral tape and wire, and how to make boutonnières. #NOKOPROUD

This past week, members Alden, Kolin, Ethan, Ty, and Kendall competed in the Section 19 Virtual Agronomy CDE, placing 3rd overall. Ty placed first individually, and Ethan placed third individually! Congrats to the Agronomy Team! #NOKOPROUD

#NOKOPROUD is THANKFUL for OUR STUDENTS. They have done an amazing job this year with all of the protocols that have been put into place to maintain a safe and healthy environment. We understand that it is not always fun, but remember we are here to help reach your GOALS.

Congratulations to Senior Koby Scoles! He has enlisted as an 11 Bravo and will attend basic at Fort Benning, Georgia. He received the GI Bill, GI Bill Kicker, AT pay, and 4 years of paid tuition to any college in Illinois, along with a $20,000 sign-on bonus. #NOKOPROUD
