The JH volleyball 🏐 games in Hillsboro for tomorrow night are cancelled due to weather and road conditions.

Due to the weather and road conditions, all Nokomis Schools will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. All after-school activities will be determined by 1:00 p.m. on Monday. When we return on Tuesday, the JH and HS will follow the "A" day schedule. Stay safe and warm. #NOKOPROUD

The Nokomis Girls' basketball game today has been moved up to 10: 30am in Carrollton!

Pattern Energy came to speak to Mr. DeWerff’s Contemporary World Issues class to talk about the Shoals Renewable Project and how it will impact Montgomery County yesterday.

Our Kindergarten friends at North School enjoyed time with some wonderful role models during Lunch with Redskins. Members of our high school basketball team came over to chat with kids and interact during indoor recess. #NOKOPROUD

Mrs Snow's Kindergarten class worked together to create a vision board for the new year. Students picked areas they would like to work on individually and as a class for 2026. #NOKOPROUD

Juletta Ellis, Director of the South Central Illinois Regional Workforce Training & Innovation Center (SCI Center) in Litchfield, spoke with our sophomores today about exciting class opportunities for next year! Juletta will also be at the Nokomis Public Library today from 3:00–5:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity for high school students and their families to stop by, ask questions, and learn more about fall 2026 and spring 2027 classes, as well as available scholarships.

Programs offered at the SCI Center include:
