The Lady Redskins Volleyball Team presented Ayden's Army with a donation from funds raised from the Penny War and Dessert Auction held in October

It was a great night hosting Section 19 FFA Leadership Training School! FFA members participated in workshops and heard inspirational remarks from section presidents and the state FFA president! Thank you to all the members who helped and well done to Levi for organizing a great event! 🔵🟡

It was another great 8th grade FFA meeting this month! The 8th graders enjoyed making pumpkin pie in a bag with the officers! 🥧 🔵🟡

One Middle School FFA Conference wasn’t enough! Another great group of 8th grade FFA members attended the middle school conference at Richland Community College! They had a great experience learning about the benefits of FFA, interacting with other FFA members, and meeting the state officers! 🔵🟡

Big thank you to Lincoln Land Community College and the LLCC Foundation for generously donating a $250 scholarship to be raffled at our recent College & Career Day! Congratulations to Camryn Engelman for being the lucky recipient!

National Honor Society members will be participating in a food drive scavenger hunt to benefit the Nokomis Food Pantry this weekend! Students have clues to decipher, and then collect items based on the clues. Items to be collected include: Paper towels,
Toilet paper, Body soap, Shampoo, Laundry soap, Deodorant, Rice packages (Knorr), Snacks, Manwich, Jelly, Salad dressing, Granola bars, Hamburger helper, etc. Please keep your eye out for these members!

Ten 8th grade Nokomis FFA members had an amazing time at the Middle School FFA Conference at LLCC! They connected with over 120 other members from around the state, participated in a variety of leadership workshops, and learned more about the opportunities in FFA! This is a great start to a long journey in FFA! 🔵🟡

NHS Career Day 2025 - It was a great day for our students! A special thank-you to our keynote speaker, Kurt Aumann, CEO of Aumann Auctions and Newkomis President, as well as to all of our wonderful speakers, college and trade representatives, and volunteers who made the day such a success. In total, 55 sessions were offered, and several college and trade representatives were on hand to share valuable insights and opportunities with our students.

Happy Veterans Day to all those who have served! We appreciate you! North Elementary Halls were filled with items honoring our Veterans this week and we were blessed to have several special visitors in our classrooms and as honored guest at our Veteran's Day Assembly yesterday. Students and staff have also worked hard to send out letters to over 250 Veterans this year! #NOKOPROUD
