Mrs. Margie Eisenbarth did a lesson on worms for first grade last week at the Nokomis Public Library. She read a nonfiction story about worms and then students voted to see who likes worms. Then we made a worm garden and added our own worms to it. We ended with a funny book about worms and she sent gummy worms for us to try back at school. #NOKOPROUD

Last week, Mrs Heldebrandt and Mrs Johnston's 3rd grade classes had a "Glow Day" as a part of their calendar countdown. They made oobleck with cornstarch and tonic water. Students were able to see the impact of using tonic water, as tonic water glows under blacklight. The countdown is on...these students are ready to head 4th grade! #NOKOPROUD
