What a great time at State Awards Day! We had nine Nokomis FFA members compete with their SAE recordbook projects at the state level.
🔵Izaak Doyen - STATE WINNER in SOE Human and Public Services
🟡Andrew Suslee - state runner-up in SOE Arts and Communications
🔵Abigail Centeno - state runner-up in Discovery STAR in Agriscience
Congratulations also goes to Levi German, Kennley Kirk, Fausto Centeno, Alauna Patton, and Parker Morrison for being in the top 5 in the state for their areas!
Last but not least, Grace King interviewed in the area of STAR Agriscience and will hear results on stage at this year’s state convention in June!
To compete at state is a huge achievement for these members who have put in numerous hours towards their projects. Congratulations again to all!!

Good Afternoon. It has been deemed safe to return to school; therefore, all Nokomis Schools will be open on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. Students who normally park on the north side of the parking lot next to the pool will need to park in the Sophomore lot for at least one day to allow more debris to be removed. We ask that everyone stay away from the dumpster and debris near it. It will be a "B" day for the JH and HS. #NOKOPROUD
The home baseball game tomorrow, Tuesday, 03/17/26 against is Metro-East Lutheran is cancelled. The away softball game against St. Elmo is also cancelled for tomorrow.
The "varsity only" baseball and softball games in Staunton have been rescheduled to Wednesday, 03/18/26 at 4:30pm.
The Illinois College indoor track meet is cancelled for today, Monday, 03/16/26!
