On July 10th at the Fayette County Fairgrounds, it was a successful day for Nokomis FFA members at the Section 19 Livestock Fair! 🔵 Caleb Bauer earned reserve overall heifer, champion angus heifer, champion commercial heifer, and champion simmental steer. 🟡Walker Stewart won reserve grand champion steer. 🔵Carsyn Bertolino won grand champion barrow and grand champion in swine showmanship. 🟡Kinley Stolte won champion wether, champion heifer, and champion steer. Congratulations to our four FFA members that participated in the fair. Your hard work and countless hours spent with your animals does not go unnoticed. Well done!

Thank you to the FFA members that helped at the tractor show on July 12th, and thank you to everyone that brought a tractor. It was a great day with a lot of enjoyable tractor games! We would also like to thank Josh Sullivan for helping us organize the show. If you are interested in bringing a tractor next year, the show will be on July 11th. 🔵🟡 🚜

ATTENTION all high school students that will be playing GOLF with Ramsey this upcoming year. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT from Ramsey Principal Becky Eddy. Parents and Athletes need to attend! Mandatory Athlete/Parent Meeting on Monday, July 27 at 6:45pm in the Ramsey HS gym. All athletes and their parents are required to attend this meeting for the 26-27 school year. You only need to attend one meeting to fulfill this requirement. We will also be collecting physicals and sports fees ($40) on this date.

Darci Pacelli was hired as the new JR/SR High School Principal and Donovan Riley was hired as the new JR/SR High School Assistant Principal and Athletic Director last night. Congratulations to both of you! #NOKOPROUD

FFA members Braydon Cachera and Hunter Casterline represented our chapter on the Annual Premier Chapter Award Tour in Washington DC which is sponsored by Illinois Farm Bureau. This once in a lifetime opportunity rewards young leaders and allows them to visit many historical sites and meet new members from around the state! 🔵🟡🇺🇸

2026-2027 Nokomis Jr/Sr High School Online Registration: August 12th & 13th

If you have any problems with online registration there will be in-person assistance in the Junior High lobby on Thursday, August 13th from 5:30-6:30pm.

New students to the district in grades 6-12 will be able to register on Monday, August 17th by appointment. For students going in to grades 6-8, please contact the Junior High Office at 217-563-4323 and students going in to grades 9-12, please contact the HS Office at 217-563-2014 to schedule your appointments. 🔴⚫ #NOKOPROUD
