Nokomis Jr/Sr High School CKH Students of the year: 7th grader- Koen Mills, 8th graders- Abigail Centeno and Laurelie Hill, Sophomore Carsyn Bertolino and Junior Fausto Centeno. Mrs Brownback and Mr Perkins 5th Graders designed a truck and menu, set a budget, learned how to market a product, and shopped at each other's food trucks this week. Lots of great learning opportunities for these creative minds. Way to go 5th graders.

We recognized our seniors in an assembly this week for the paths they have chosen once they graduate from Nokomis Jr/Sr High School. Whether it be Military, Workforce, or College our students are ready for their next step. Congratulations seniors! We're excited to see where these paths take you. 🔴⚫#NOKOPROUD

Congrats to these five freshmen students who competed in this year's level 1 National German Exam (NGE). Four students achieved the gold standard, and one silver based on national percentile. Herzlichen Glückwunsch an alle!

During the Horticulture unit in Mr. Fesser's Intro to Ag class, students spent time working on the school landscape!

6th grade Creative Expressions finished their pillowcases to donate to St. John's patients. They learned how to make French seams to finish the edges!

Congratulations to the Nokomis Bass Fishing team made up of Daryl Evans and Andrew Suslee! They are the 2026 Regional Champions for the Bass Fishing competition that took place today at Coffeen Lake. They won with a total weight of 13.94 pounds. They will move on in the post season to compete in the Sectional at Lake Springfield on Thursday, May 21st. 🔴⚫️🐟🎣🏆#NOKOPROUD
