Nokomis Community Unit #22 believes that a positive and supportive school environment is key to our students' success. This month, we are excited to spotlight our Capturing Kids' Hearts program, which has been making a tremendous impact in our classrooms and beyond!

Capturing Kids' Hearts is a transformative process that focuses on building trust, fostering meaningful relationships, and creating a culture of respect and accountability. Through engaging activities, heartfelt conversations, and consistent encouragement, our students and staff are learning to connect on a deeper level.
Back to School Night 2024-2025 - It was great to see so many students and families tonight! We are looking forward to a great school year! The NJHS Lady Braves Volleyball finished up their summer open gym sessions last week. Thank you @Nokomis Athletic Club for supporting our summer league fees and Team Day at @nokomis pool the girls had fun in the pool after an exciting day in the gym. 🏐🔴⚫ #NOKOPROUD

It's time for the JH/HS 2024-2025 Back to School Night! Join us on August 16th as we open the doors for students and families to pick up their schedules and drop off locker items. The Nokomis School District is in the process of writing a grant to continue our after-school program and provide students with opportunities to extend their learning beyond the classroom. This is the official notice that the District is seeking collaborative partnerships for this grant to provide children and their families with ways to take advantage of community resources. Alternatively, the partnership can provide community residents the opportunity to volunteer their time and share their expertise to help students achieve academic standards and master new skills. If your organization is interested in this partnership, please contact the Unit Office by August 7, 2024, so the grant can be submitted in a timely fashion. #NOKOPROUD
HS GOLF- Parent/ Player meeting at Ramsey High School tonight beginning at 6pm.

Summer and Faith represented Nokomis FFA on the Farm Bureau Premier Chapter Award trip in Washington DC! Nokomis FFA earned the spots to attend since our chapter was ranked as a national finalist last school year!
