Nokomis CUSD #22 was named a Capturing Kids Hearts (CKH) National Showcase District the past 2 years. Each year, our students and staff complete a CKH survey as a temperature check as to how implementation of CKH and its various processes are going. Along with our staff and students completing the annual CKH survey this week, we are hoping that many of our parents/guardians will be able to take a few minutes to complete the annual CKH Family Survey. Congratulations to the JH/HS CKH November/Teamwork Winners! Each month teachers/students nominate students and faculty that best demonstrate the CKH theme of the month. During the month of November, classes focused on Teamwork during their CKH Character Education lessons. Teamwork is the ability to work in unity with others toward a common goal. For us to learn how to become team players, it is important that we learn to listen, encourage our peers, and allow and invite others to contribute their talents and skills. Mr. Fesser's Crop Production class has been planting a variety of crops throughout the semester in the greenhouse. They have been studying plant growth and management. Each student has also grown their own individual plant as a project. #NOKOPROUD
