The NHS Student Council is selling PINK shirts again this year, along with PINK masks. Order forms are in the JH/HS offices, North Elementary, and Trendz Hair Salon. Orders and money are due by Sept. 30th. All proceeds go to the MCCA. Due to Covid-19, NHS is not able to have their annual PINK game in October. The community will still be able to purchase balloon tags in memory of a loved one who had or is fighting cancer for $3 starting on Thursday, Oct. 1st. Tags can be purchased from Trendz, Ugly Mugs, or Student Council members. The Student Council members will launch the biodegradable balloons at 6:30pm on Friday, October 16th. The event will be closed to the public, but will be live streamed on the Nokomis CUSD #22 Facebook. 💕 #NOKOPROUD

The Nokomis FFA Chapter will be showcased this weekend, September 12-13, 2020, on “This Week In AgriBusiness”, a weekly, one-hour television agri-news program hosted by two of the country’s most well-known farm broadcasters Max Armstrong and Orion Samuelson. The Nokomis FFA Chapter Tribute will include information about the Chapter’s history, activities and community service. It also includes an interview with Nora Patton, as well as several photos of the students and their participation in chapter activities. Viewers can see the Nokomis FFA Chapter Tribute during “This Week In AgriBusiness” which is aired on RFD-TV, a 24-hour television network for rural America. RFD-TV is carried on Dish Network channel 231 and on DirecTV channel 345, as well as a number of other cable systems. “This Week In AgriBusiness” airs three times on RFD-TV throughout the weekend. Broadcast times are 7:00a.m. on Saturday; 5:00a.m. and 9:30p.m. on Sundays; (Central Time Zone). #NOKOPROUD
