Kindness Week at North Elementary was full of many wonderful activities. Ms. Harrison, School Counselor, talked with students Pre-k through 5th about what being kind looks like and the impact it may have on the world around us. Staff and students created kindness envelopes to share and spread positivity and the younger students completed an activity where they shared how they can make a difference.
Mrs Cruthis’s first graders work in math centers utilizing presidential themes activities to work multi step math problems. Students roll the dice to tell them how many coins to add to their form as well as a dice instructing them to add or subtract coins.
Mrs. Marty's Pre-K classes got a visit from Mr. Reedy and The Cat in the Hat to read some great books!
Mrs. Huddlestun's students celebrated the birthday of author Dr. Seuss with students creating their own "Oh the Places You'll Go '' hot air balloons.
