NHS Career Day 2025 - It was a great day for our students! A special thank-you to our keynote speaker, Kurt Aumann, CEO of Aumann Auctions and Newkomis President, as well as to all of our wonderful speakers, college and trade representatives, and volunteers who made the day such a success. In total, 55 sessions were offered, and several college and trade representatives were on hand to share valuable insights and opportunities with our students.

North Elementary Halls were filled with items honoring our Veterans this week and we were blessed to have several special visitors in our classrooms and as honored guest at our Veteran's Day Assembly yesterday. Students and staff have also worked hard to send out letters to over 250 Veterans this year! #NOKOPROUD

The Nokomis Lady Redskins Girls Basketball team will again host the Nokomis Fall Tip-Off Tournament from Nov. 20-22. Attached is the online store to purchase shirts for the tournament. The store closes on Sunday, November 9th at midnight.

Mr. Fesser's Crop Production class has been growing a variety of crops and other plants in the greenhouse this semester! Each student has also been in charge of their own individual plant. The students plan to grow and harvest more crops throughout the year. 🪴🫛🥔🍓
Congratulations to these four FFA members! They are GROWMARK Foundation FFA jacket recipients in honor of Mike Builta! Their jackets were paid for by receiving this award, and only 25 first year FFA members out of the entire state earn this honor. Four out of 25 are from Nokomis!
The FFA members earn this honor by writing responses on what FFA and the FFA jacket mean to them.

-Nokomis FFA was recognized for being a three star chapter which is the highest ranking at the national level.
-Bond Knodle was also honored as a national finalist for being top four in the country in Diversified Crop Production Placement!
-Nora Patton received the American FFA Degree which is the highest degree in the FFA!
-FFA member attended the sessions to hear motivational speakers and celebrate the awards of FFA members.
-FFA members also attended the career expo to interact with hundreds of businesses, companies, organizations, and colleges.
-FFA members bonded with other members from their own school and with other students from around the country.
